Studio Time for Recording and Mixdown
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY ROYALTIES WHEN YOU RECORD MATERIAL IN OUR STUDIO WHICH WAS WRITTEN BY OTHER ARTISTS.  WE ADVISE YOU TO ALWAYS FIRST OBTAIN WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE PUBLISHER OF THE MATERIAL (SONG, ETC.) BEFORE RECORDING IT, THEN ALWAYS PAY TRIBUTE TO THE SONGWRITER AND PUBLISHER IN THE LINERS OF YOUR OWN CD.  THIS RELEASES YOU FROM ANY LIABILITY.  YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO PAY THE ROYALTIES TO THE PUBLISHER THROUGH THE HARRY FOX AGENCY IN NY OR SOME OTHER VALID COLLECTION AGENCY IMMEDIATELY UPON DECIDING THE NUMBER OF DUPLICATE COPIES TO BE MANUFACTURED. THIS IS VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS! THE CURRENT RATE IS 9.5 CENTS PER SONG/PER COPY.  FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU DO 200 COPIES OF TEN SONGS, THE TOTAL AMOUNT WOULD BE 9.5 X 10 X 200 = $190.  THIS SEEMS EXPENSIVE, BUT IT WILL KEEP YOU OUT OF TROUBLE AND IT IS ONLY FAIR TO PAY FOR THE MATERIAL PROVIDED BY ANOTHER SONGWRITER.  IT IS THE WAY THEY MAKE THEIR LIVING.  OBVIOUSLY, IF YOU ARE THE SONGWRITE, THEN YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT PAYING ROYALTIES (EXCEPT TO YOURSELF...)

By the hour:

                         Additional musicians - $40/hr. each
By the day:

What you get -  8 hours of time (ie.10:00AM - 6:00PM)

What you get - All of the above, including,  20 total hours of time for recording and mixdown.  Note that none of these prices include duplication, manufacturing of CDs, etc, since those charges will vary according to what you want, but essentially, you pay what we pay for those services.

Radio Spot Production and Delivery (including materials but not shipping)*

Our spots are produced in digital CD quality and uploaded to our internet website in MP3 format.  A :30 spot in stereo is about 1 megabyte in size and takes about 10 seconds to upload from our studio to any radio station, which can, in turn, download it in only a few seconds.  All stations in the area have this capability.  We rarely produce radio spots on reels.  It is outdated and not as high quality as MP3's. If you have a pre-agreement with a station, we can have your spot on the air anywhere within minutes (no physical delivery required)!

Web Page Design and Maintenance

Our most popular package price  of $750 includes a maximum of 10 hours of studio time for recording your album - sufficient for recording approximately 10 songs of an average 3 minute length (the key here is to have your songs well practiced and produced before you come in).  Overdubbing time, if needed, can be worked out under this package for only $25/hr. extra, if needed.  When all recording is done, you will also be provided with a maximum of 10 hours of mixdown time.  Should your project require more time for mixing, the extra cost per hour is $25/hr.  All materials, including digital-16  multitrack, DAT master, and either a CD copy or a cassette copy of the finished product for your files, are included. For an small additional fee, we will also help you copyright your original songs and publish  them through our local publishing company, EARSTONE MUSIC.  After your master is ready, we will help you to make decisions concerning a duplication company, etc.
For example, we can arrange for color inserts 200 CDs of your work for as little as $600.   CD pricing may surprise you! (Less than $1000 for 300 copies with an additional  great photo package included). It's cheaper than you think..  Let us show you all the options and possibilities.

IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR WORK AND ARE REALLY LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL SOUNDING CD, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO "DO IT YOURSELF".  TALK TO US.  OUR WORK IS GUARANTEED!  ***WE ALSO STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO CONSIDER HAVING IT ALL PROFESSIONALLY MASTERED FOR EQ AND LEVELING.  IT COSTS A LITTLE MORE (AT THE CA COMPANY WE USE NOW) BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT.

The pricing on our photo restoration varies.  We can give you a price after we see your old photo.

Sound System Rental and Installation

Our small 300 watt system generally rents for $200/day plus driving expenses.  Our larger 600 watt system is $300/day plus expenses.  The largest 2000 watt system is $500/day plus expenses.

Be sure to call us before you decide,  because there are special circumstances, and since individual needs for installation vary so greatly, please be sure to call us.  If needed, we will come to your facility and provide you with a no cost price quote.
